Food From Afar was a Columbus, GA based online grocery delivery service similar to Instacart. They offered a wide variety of products from local stores, delivered straight to your door. As a new startup idea at the time, the company was in need of a website that would allow customers to easily browse current store ads, submit orders, and even share recipe ideas with the community through a shared blog.
Our development team helped Food From Afar take its business model online by creating a responsive website design that was easy to navigate and use. We built out features such as live onsite grocery ads, online ordering, and a blogging component to create a sense of community among customers. The website was designed to be user-friendly, with a clean and modern layout, making it easy for customers to browse and select items for their grocery orders. While Food From Afar, unfortunately, didn’t survive the onset of national competition, we were honored to have helped Food From Afar with such a revolutionary idea for the time.
